Scouting the Rangers

• Regis enters conference play 3-6 overall, breaking their four-game losing streak going 2-2 in the MSU Texas Invitational.
• The Rangers have momentum from their 4-1 win in their final game of the MSU Texas Invitational over Midwestern State University.
• Last season, Regis finished 7^th in the RMAC Standings 12-23 in conference, over CSU-Pueblo. This season the Rangers are picked to finished 8^th among RMAC competitors.
• Head to head last season, the Rangers took down the Grizzlies in their three-game series winning, 5-13, 2-10, and 4-5 in six innings. They two teams battled through snowy weather last year in Denver, canceling their second game of their first doubleheader.
• In the early season, the Rangers have one batter with an average over .400. Shaylelyn Allen is batting .409 with 9 hits in her 22 at bats.
• Carly Beard is leading the Rangers with 6 RBIs on 4 hits, followed by Taylor Armitage with 5 RBIs on 5 hits.
• Jessi Case is leading Regis with 4 stolen bases on 5 attempts, holding a .292 batting average.
