ALAMOSA, Colo. – The Adams State University softball team's weekend series against Black Hills State University has been relocated to the ASU Softball Field in Alamosa, Colo.. due to snow that has fallen in Spearfish, S.D. The series was originally scheduled to be played at Yellow Jacket Field on the campus of Black Hills State but due to the natural dirt field and snow making it unplayable the Grizzlies will host the Yellow Jackets.
The weekend series will feature a doubleheader on Saturday with game times slated for 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., while Sunday's doubleheader is scheduled to be played at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Due to the series originally being scheduled as a home series for the Yellow Jackets, the Grizzlies will serve as the visiting team despite playing on their home turf.
Adams State looks to snap a three-game losing streak as they were only able to take one-of-four from the Skyhawks this past weekend.
