DENVER, Colo.— The Grizzlies finished their series at All Star Park with a nine inning game against Colorado Christian University starting at 9.
Game 1: Cougars 21 Grizzlies 6
The Grizzlies score came out swinging putting up two runs in the top of the first inning with a triple by
Nathan Hield which scored Cedric Reynaud and
Matt Bathauer. The Cougars took the lead with four runs in the bottom of the third inning. In the top of the fourth inning, the Grizzlies cut into the lead with a single by
Landon Faber to score
Jace Wytulka.
The Grizzlies then tied the game in the top of the fifth inning with a double by
Matt Bathauer to score
Ryan Downs. The Cougars responded with six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. The Cougars added onto their lead with two more runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. The Grizzlies scored two runs in the top of the eighth inning with a two-run home run by
Thomas Lyall. The Cougars then plated nine runs in the bottom of the eighth inning.
The Grizzlies started right hander

The Grizzlies go back home to take on Metropolitan State University with a four game series starting on Thursday because of Easter Sunday. The Grizzlies will play a nine on Thursday, their two seven inning games on Friday and a nine on Saturday.
