ALAMOSA, Colo. – The Adams State baseball program has been recognized for its commitment to excellence in the classroom, earning the 2025–26 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, the organization announced on Wednesday.

The Grizzlies earned the honor after posting a cumulative team grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the 2025–26 academic year. The award recognizes high school and collegiate baseball programs led by an ABCA member head coach that demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.

This marks the fourth consecutive year Adams State has received the honor, continuing the program's tradition of success in the classroom. The Grizzlies were among nearly 500 collegiate programs recognized nationwide with the 2025–26 award.

The annual recognition reflects the dedication of Adams State's student-athletes, coaches, and support staff to achieving excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
