PUEBLO, Colo.— The Adams State Grizzlies took on fellow RMAC foe, the Colorado State University of Pueblo ThunderWolves and ultimately fell 18-5
The ThunderWolves started the game aggressively. Early in the game the ThunderWolves scored 2 goals. The Grizzlies answered back with an unassisted goal by
Kyle Coking. However, after that the ThunderWolves had five unanswered goals. The score at the end of the first quarter was 8-2, Pueblo. In the next quarter, the ThunderWolves scored three more goals making the score going into halftime 11-2.
After halftime, the Grizzlies came out ready to fight.
Brett Carberry scored in the third quarter.
Chase Roush and
Griffin Thomas also scored in the second half. However, the Grizzlies defense couldn't hold against the ThunderWolves offense as the final score of the game was 18-5.
Up next, the Grizzlies play against another conference foe, Westminster College on Sunday, April 10th. The Grizzlies will then travel home and host the Griffins on April 22nd.
