Two Grizzlies Earn RMAC All-Conference Second Team Honors

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Two Adams State men's lacrosse players have been named to the 2026 RMAC All-Conference Second Team, the conference announced Thursday.

The All-Conference team honors the top performers in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, recognizing standout athletes for their on-field achievements throughout the season.

Malik Maxwell, a junior midfielder from Las Vegas, Nevada, earned his first All-Conference selection after appearing in 12 games and making six starts. Maxwell led the Grizzlies in both 14 assists and 29 points.

Hunter Bennett, a senior long stick midfielder from Anoka, Minnesota, earned his second All-Conference selection. Bennett started all 12 games for the Grizzlies, causing 10 turnovers and collecting 40 ground balls.

Adams State also had four athletes receive Honorable Mention recognition: senior Jamal Wilson, junior Wyatt Canaday, senior Danny Joy, and senior Ryan Berger.

The Grizzlies finished the season last week with a 2-10 overall record during the 2026 season. The Grizzlies will look to continue to build with their two returning All-RMAC selections.
