ALAMOSA, Colo. — The Adams State Grizzlies hosted the Westminster Griffins. Both teams just recently played each other, however, it was in Salt Lake City, Utah. On Friday, the teams battled high winds, but the Griffins won the game 22-3
The Griffins had a quick start as they scored nine goals in the first period. The Grizzlies finally found the back of the net when
Dawson Balabanoff scored in the second period.
Jacob Austin also scored in the second period. The score going into halftime was 11-2.
The Griffins offense started out aggressive but the Grizzlies defense held up better in the second half.
Jacob Austin scored his second goal of the day in the third period. The Grizzlies ultimately allowed 11 goals in the second half, which resulted in the final score being 22-3.
