ALAMOSA, Colo.— The Adams State Grizzlies hosted Colorado State University Pueblo this afternoon. This was the last home game and last regular season game for the Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies came out aggressive against the Thunder Wolves. However the Thunder Wolves were able to score two goals before Brett Carberry scored with the assist from Jacob Austin. The Thunder Wolves would score three more goals that period. The second period was similar to the first as the Thunder Wolves scored five goals. The score going into halftime was 10-3.
The third period started and the Thunder Wolves quickly scored. Again, they would score five goals. The Grizzlies held the Thunder Wolves to no goals in the fourth quarter. The Grizzlies would not go down without a fight and this could be seen by Senior Ron Johnson's last second goal assisted by another Senior, Brendan Williams. This was Ron Johnson's fourth goal of the game. The Thunder Wolves finished out on top with the final score of 15-7.
Up next, the Grizzlies will be traveling to Salt Lake City, Utah to play Westminster College.
