ALAMOSA, Colo.— With the first regular-season game for the 2022-23 season set to kickoff in 44 days, the Adams State University Grizzly Club has announced that the 2022-2023 Grizzly Club membership drive is now live.

"We are so proud of what all our student-athletes, teams, coaches, and staff have accomplished this past year and are eager to keep moving forward," said Athletic Director Katelyn Smith. "We had so many incredible and notable accomplishments and cannot wait to see what our Grizzlies bring come fall."

The Grizzlies' first official game on the schedule is set for Thursday, August 25th, when the men's soccer team, under the new leadership of Head Coach Justin Gilfert, travels to Lubbock, Texas, to take on the Chaparrals. Women's volleyball opens their season on Friday, August 26th, for four games when they travel to Canyon, Texas, for the WTAMU Lady Buff Classic. Under the new leadership of Head Coach Alex Greco, women's soccer will be in Colorado Springs on August 26th for a neutral-site game against Stonehill College.

Football opens its season on Saturday, September 3rd, when they travel to Silver City, New Mexico, for a non-conference match-up against Western New Mexico. The Grizzlies will have their home opener a week later on Saturday, September 10th, when they host West Texas A&M with a 6:00 p.m. kickoff. This will be the first of three night games: the Grizzlies New Mexico Highlands (October 1st; 7:00 p.m.) and Colorado Mesa (October 22nd; 6:00 p.m.) will be played under the lights at Rex Field.

The two-time reigning women's NCAA Division II Champion Cross Country team and their men's companions will host the 29th Annual Joe I. Vigil Invitational at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, September 10th at Cattails Golf Course.

In addition to getting season passes to ALL ASU Athletic events, Grizzly Club members get parking passes, invitations to monthly Grizzly Club luncheons, and other promotional items.
