COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Division I's Stonehill College shut out Adams State 4-0 at Mountain Lion Field Aug. 26. It was the season-opener for the Grizzlies. Stonehill College improves to 1-1.
Lauren Clement scored twice for the SkyHawks. Olivia Sharkansky and Hannah Anselmo also scored goals for SHC.
The SkyHawks outshot ASU 14-7. Karlee Caballeo took three of the Grizzlies' seven shots, and two of them were on goal. SHC goalkeeper Leanne Durham made four saves. Adams State netminder

Adams State's home opener is at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, against West Texas A&M University. West Texas won its season-opener over 14th-ranked Emporia State 1-0.
