GUNNISON, Colo. - The Adam's State Women's Soccer team picked up their first conference win of the season in a shutout fashion on Sunday afternoon.
Karlee Caballero scored the only goal for the Grizzlies ending the game at 1-0.
Caballero's goal came out of the 78
th minute off a corner kick where
Carena Harrison was able to screen the goalkeeper allowing the ball to go in.
The Mountaineers and the Grizzlies kept up with each other with the Grizzlies having seven shots and two shots on goal while the Mountaineers had eight shots and two shots on goal.
Ashlyn Bartley made eight saves in recording the shutout win.
The Grizzlies will face Fort Lewis next Sunday at Fort Lewis at 11:00 a.m.
