WBB | Grizzlies set for first ever meeting with Seawolves

 ANCHORAGE, Alaska—In an eagerly anticipated matchup set to unfold on November 24th and 25th at 7:15 pm in Anchorage, Alaska, the Adams State University women's basketball team is poised to take on the University of Alaska Anchorage in what promises to be a thrilling display of skill and determination.
 
Recently For Adams State Women's Basketball:
The Grizzlies played admirable defense over the weekend but let both games slip away. The team lost 58-70 last Thursday to Eastern New Mexico University and lost to Texas A&M University Kingsville on Saturday by a 66-69 margin. Adams State, split its first six contests and come in at 3-3.
 
ASU is bringing a roster of talented athletes ready to take the court to test their mettle against the University of Alaska Anchorage including native Angelline Nageak. The junior averages 13.5 points.  Sophomore Harmanie Dominguez  averages 13.7 points per game.
 
About the University of Alaska Anchorage:
Alaska Anchorage has had a consistent season but over the past week have lost their past two games. The team lost 52-63 last Sunday to the University of Alabama Public Health and Eastern Kentucky 117-72. The University of Alaska Anchorage women's basketball team Is led by UAA's junior Jazzpher Evans, pacing the team and ranking 9th in the GNAC with 15.7 points per game.
 
The Series
This will be the first time the women's programs have met.
 
Up Next
The Grizzlies will return to the continental US to open Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action next Friday and Saturday when they hit the road for match ups at Fort Lewis College (Sat. at 5:30 p.m.)  and Western Colorado (Fri. at 5:30 p.m.). They will then host CSU Pueblo (Fri., Dec. 8th at 5:30 p.m.), New Mexico Highlands (Sat. Dec. 9th at 5:30 p.m.) and Colorado Mesa (Fri., Dec. 15 at 3:30 p.m.).
