PUEBLO, Colo.—The Grizzlies transferred to outdoor season as they competed at an early season opener at the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl Stadium.
 
In the men's 1500 meters Nathan Scherbarth had a solid effort as he placed ninth overall with a time of 4:05.56. Kidus Begashaw also competed in this event and finished 20^th overall with a time of 4:12.29, followed by Andy Setser in 31^st place with a time of 4:20.97.
 
Mikah Piaz competed well in the men's 800 meters and finished second with a time of 1:54.30, followed by Kailer Smith who finished 15^th with a time of 2:02.39.
 
Joaquin Herrera showed great efforts in the men's 5,000 meters as he finished sixth with a time of 5:44.28.
 
Maggie McCleskey showed great efforts in the women's. 800 meters as she finished the overall posting a time of 2:18.26.  Mikaela Jonsson also competed in this event and finished in fourth with a time of 2:19.05.
