PUEBLO, Colo.—The Grizzlies continued to train hard and compete during spring break as the competed a the ThunderBowl Stadium for the second week in a row at the CSU Pueblo Spank Blasing Invitational.
 
In the men's 100 meters Thomas Lujan and Camwrin Harris competed in this event. Lujan finished  22^nd posting a time of 11.30, and Harris finished 32^nd posting a time of 11.53.
 
Chad Jackson competed well in the men's 400 meters as he came in second with a time of  49.56.
Jordan Spencer gave great effort in the men's 110 meter hurdles as he finished in fifth with a time of 14.43.
 
Michael Fonseca competed in the men's 400 meter hurdles and finished 14^th overall running a time of 58.76.
 
In the men's 1500 meters Nathan Scherbarth finished 19^th with a time of 4:12:38, Armando Ortiz competed in this event as well and finished 31^st with a time of 4:20:09.
 
In the men's long jump Camwrin Harris competed well as he finished 13^th with a jump of 6.43 meters.
Spencer gave a solid effort in the men's triple jump as he finished 14^th with a jump of 12.56 meters.  
 
Sam Dirkes  competed in the men shot put and finished in third with a throw of 17.27 meters. Dirkes also competed in the men's discus throw and finished fourth with a throw of 49.04 meters.
James Hochanadel competed well in the men's shot put as he finished 12^th with a throw of 14.82 meters and also competed in the discus throw as he placed 17^th as he threw 43.14 meters.
Jordan Larson and James Waddles competed in the men's discus throw. Larson came in sixth place with a throw of 47.72 meters and Waddles came in 20^th with a throw of 40.83 meters.
 
In the women's 100 meters Alese Sartain finished in fifth with a time of 12.00, while Caelyn Gomez finished 29^th with a time of 13.39.
 
Jessica Simon competed in the women's 200 meters and finished 10^th with a time of 26.52. Simon also competed in the women's 400 meters and finished fifth with a time of 59.04.
 
The Grizzlies were staked in the women's 800 meters as Lieke Hoogsteen finished second with a time of  2:13.93, followed by Nicole Lawrence (13^th 2:21.76), Amalia Dorian (14^th 2:22.92), and Mikaela Jonson (20^th 2:25.99).
 
The Grizzlies also had a good group in the women's 1500 meters as Precious Robinson finished 11^th with a time of (4:46.86), followed by Emily Schoellkopf (12^th 4:47.46), Amalia Dorion (14^th 4:52.07), and Reina Paredes (24^th 5:03.85).
 
In the women's 3000 meter steeplechase Ava O'Connor debuted in this event for the fist time for the Grizzlies and finished in 1^st with a time of 11:00.67, followed by Morgan Hykes (2^nd 11:10.21), and Erin Stonebarger (6^th 11:39.39)
 
Caelyn Gomez competed in the women's long jump and finished  33^rd jumping 4.60 meters.
 
Laura Galvan competed in the women's discus and finished  22^nd as she threw 30.75 meters.

Up Next, the Grizzlies will head back to Pueblo, Colo. to compete at the CSU Pueblo Invite #3 on March 31^st- April 1^st.
