ALAMOSA, Colo.— Adams State junior Mike Bathauer was named Second-Team All-Region on Wednesday afternoon by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association (NCBWA).
 
Bathauer hit ten home runs this season for 54 RBI as he held a .408 batting average with 71 hits. This accolade already adds to the trophy case for the year as he was already named First-Team All-RMAC.
 
The 2023 NCBWA South Central All-Region teams were voted on by a committee of eight sports information directors with four representing the RMAC and four others representing the LSC. MSU Denver led all teams with seven selections. Colorado Mesa was right behind with six players named all-region.
