COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado — On Friday afternoon, the RMAC released the Football First Team All-Academic team, along with the Academic Honor Roll selections for each team. The Grizzly football team received recognition for 5 young men for their strong academics while participating in a Varsity sport.
The Academic Honor Roll selections for the Grizzlies included Senior Seth Lewalker-Boise, Junior Zach Ray, Sophomore Ben Holly, Senior Xavier Gutierrez, and Senior Joshua Sparks. Lewalker-Boise, Ray, Gutierrez, and Sparks are all Kinesiology majors, while Holly is a Business Administration major. All five men showed great academic achievement, maintaining a GPA above 3.3 while playing football over their time at Adams State. These five men show the excellence that is expected from the student-athletes at Adams State, both on the field and off the field in the classroom.
The Grizzlies will look to bring this mindset of excellence into the offseason as they gear up to prepare themselves for the 2026 season next Fall.
