Alamosa, Colo. – Beginning in January 2026, Adams State will implement a clear bag policy and mandatory security checkpoints at all athletic events, including home contests across all sports.

Only clear bags no larger than 12"x6"x12" will be permitted inside athletic venues. Small personal items, such as wallets/clutch's and medically necessary items, will be allowed but are subject to inspection. Backpacks, purses, and other non-clear bags will not be permitted.

Adams State Athletics reserves the right to administer each occurrence on a case-by-case basis. ASU Athletics does not have the ability to hold or check items for guests. All clear bags are subject to inspection upon entry into the venue(s). Please plan accordingly. 

All spectators will be required to pass through security screening prior to entry. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to allow adequate time for security procedures.
