"We finally put together a pretty good 60 minutes of lacrosse. I'm really proud of the effort and compete level we showed tonight. We've got some things to tighten up, but all in all, we played a pretty strong game from start to finish. Catawba is a very well coached team who plays a pretty good schedule and has been in a number of tight games this season. They're battle tested and our guys really rose up to the challenge. It's tough to win on the road, even tougher the day after traveling two time zones. I'm really proud of the guys and the way they battled to earn this win. We can enjoy it tonight, but tomorrow we've got to get back to work with a very strong team in Mars Hill on Sunday." Head Coach
Jason Levesque said after the win, which is the team's first win on the East Coast.
This game also saw Peterman reach 100 career points, which has set a record for the Adams State Men's Lacrosse team. As of right now it would put him third in the Western Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (WILA) record book (stats through 2014 season, WILA).
The Grizzlies are next in action on April 26
th, 2015 against Mars Hill College at 2:00 pm (Eastern). Fans can follow along with the live stats posted on Adams State's website.
