ALAMOSA, Colo. (April 25th, 2017) – The Adams State University men's lacrosse team returns home for the first time since April 2
nd to wrap up the regular season against CSU-Pueblo on Saturday at 3:00PM.

The Grizzlies have been on the road for 27 days since their last home game, an 11-10 overtime win over Westminster. During the road trip, the team has gone 1-3 with the lone win coming over Maryville by a score of 11-5. Adams State now sits at 5-6 overall and 4-5 in the RMAC. A win on senior day this Saturday would accomplish several achievements. Beating the ThunderWolves would automatically clinch the Grizzlies a berth in the RMAC tournament, as they would lock up the conference's fourth place spot with the win. Achieving a sixth win would also make the 2017 squad the winningest team in the history of the program.
About CSU-Pueblo:
The ThunderWolves are currently 5-6 overall and 3-6 in the RMAC. They have also gone 1-3 in their last four games with a win over Maryville in that stretch. CSUP is led by Blake Foerster with 32 goals, 17 assists, and 16 ground balls.
Last Meeting:
The Grizzlies faced the ThunderWolves to open this season back on March 4
th. Trailing for the first time in the third quarter,
Emmitt MacFarlane and
Kale Wilson would score a pair of goals to put ASU back on top 8-7. The game would be tied two more times over the next six minutes. With only two minutes remaining in the third, Adams State would take control for the remainder of the game.

Collin Cranfield, and
Michael Vaeth all scored on the Grizzly's three goal run to put the game away by a 12-9 final.
