COLORADO SPRINGS - The Adams State University men's baseball team (0-0, 0-0 RMAC) will begin its 2018 season this weekend with three games in Pueblo, Colorado. They will play the host team on Sunday at 3:00PM and West Texas A&M on Saturday at 11:00AM and again on Sunday at 11:00AM.

Last Season:
The Grizzlies went 13-33 overall and 7-25 in conference. Early in the season they did manage to steal one for No. 20 ranked at the time, Lubbock Christian 8-4 in early February. The Grizzlies enter the 2018 season with 10 returning seniors.

About West Texas A&M:
The Buffs did fairly well last season going 36-18 advancing to the NCAA South Central Regionals where they were knocked out by Arkansas Fort Smith 1-3. They did come away with some gold last year however, winning the Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship for a second straight year.

Last Meeting:
This will be the first time these teams have ever met.

About Colorado State Pueblo:
The Thunderwolves had a winning season last year at 28-19 but did not achieve much more than a first round win in the RMAC tournament. CSUP will be led by 12 returning seniors.

Last Meeting:
The last four games of the season were against Pueblo a year ago. In the series the Grizzlies won the first and third games 15-14 and 10-9 respectively. The Thunderwolves took the other two 11-8 and 18-15.
