ALAMOSA– The Adams State University baseball team (1-21, 1-7 RMAC) is fresh off the first win of the season in the series closer with UCCS last Sunday. The Grizzlies will host Metropolitan State University of Denver (10-15, 6-6 RMAC) this weekend beginning on Friday at 3:00PM.   
 
Recently In Adams State Baseball:
The Grizzlies won the very first game of the season last Sunday with a 12-6 victory over UCCS. They were 0-21 before the win.  
 
About Metro:
The Roadrunners currently sit in sixth place in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. Most recently, the team handed the Colorado School of Mines its sixth loss of the entire season. Trent Maloney has the most RBI's in the entire conference with 25 in 91 at-bats. The senior also has 31 hits and 17 runs scored. Beecher Strube is 3-1 from the mound with 26 strike outs but allowing 45 hits in 30.2 innings pitched.

ASU went 1-3 against the Roadrunners last season with their lone win coming in game one in Denver with a 5-4 final.
