BB| CSU-Pueblo And New Mexico Highlands Preview

ALAMOSA– The Adams State University baseball team (1-29, 1-15 RMAC) head to Pueblo this weekend for a pair of matchups with Colorado State University Pueblo and New Mexico Highlands University. The Grizzlies face the ThunderWolves on Friday at 3:00PM and on Sunday at 3:00PM. The team will take on the Cowboys Friday at 7:00PM and again on Saturday at 5:00PM in Pueblo as neutral site games.         
 
Recently In Adams State Baseball:
The Grizzlies are seeking their second win of the season after dropping all four games to Colorado Christian last weekend on the road. Tyson Zanski leads the team with a .383 batting average and a .596 slugging percentage. Zanski also leads the team in hits with 36.
 
About CSU-Pueblo:
The ThunderWolves are a respectable 15-14 on the year and are fresh off an 11-7 upset over No. 8 Colorado Mesa. Jason Lighthall leads the team in pitching with an ERA of 4.06 in 37. 2 innings pitched. Ambrose Romero has a team high 20 RBI's on the offensive side.  
 
Last Meeting:
Last year's series went 3-5 in favor of the ThunderWolves. A February 4th, 2018 contest was cancelled earlier this season.
 
About New Mexico Highlands:
The Cowboys are 11-23 on the season and sit one spot above the Grizzlies in the RMAC standings. Auggie Francis currently ranks fourth in the conference in runs scored to go along with his 37 and 13 RBI's. Kyle Bledsole is holding strong from the mound with a 5.09 ERA.
 
Last Meeting:
Highlands won the series 0-2 last season. A four game series near the end of the year was cancelled.
