Grizzlies Face Off Against Seahawks in 2019 Home Opener

ALAMOSA, Colo. – Adams State Men's Lacrosse is set to play its first home game of the 2019 season on Sunday afternoon with a non-conference bout against a Division III opponent.

Opening Faceoff
• Adams State is home for the first time this season after playing its first two games on the road.
• The Grizzlies are .500 in two games played with a 1-1 record going into the weekend.
• Adams State is coming off a near comeback win on the road after falling at CSU-Pueblo, 12-11.
• Following their home opener, the Grizzlies will hit the road for the next three games before returning to Alamosa.

• The Seahawks enter the weekend with a 0-1 record
• Salve Regina dropped its season opener to Clark University back on Feb. 16 by a final of 17-7.
• The Seahawks will game at Adams State is the first of five road games.
• Pat Leary leads the team in points early one with four on three goals and one assist. He is also the goal leader.
• Leary, Brendan Kelly, and Ryan Heeter are all tied for the lead in assists with once apiece.
• Ethan Robson leads the defense in caused turnovers with two.
• In net, Mike Sullivan is 0-1 on the year. He has a team-high 14 saves in one game played.
