ALAMOSA, Colo. – Adams State Men's Lacrosse is back in action this weekend as the team begins a three-game homestand to close out the 2019 season.

Opening Faceoff
• Adams State is back home for its final three games of the season after playing its final two road games last season.
• The Grizzlies are 3-6 overall and 0-3 in the RMAC entering the weekend. They will look to end a two-game skid this weekend as well.
• Adams State finished the road portion of its schedule with a 2-5 record during the regular season. The team is 1-1 at home with three games left.
• The Grizzlies will play two home contests in three games next weekend to wrap up regular season play.

Last Time Out
• Adams State dropped back-to-back road games against a pair of RMAC opponents to fall to 0-3 in conference play.
• The Grizzlies started the weekend at Westminster College. They fell to the Griffins 12-6 despite a mid-game surge.
• Adams State then played at Colorado Mesa for its final road game of the regular season. The Mavericks used an early scoring run to secure a 15-7 win at home.

Jerome Austin enters the weekend with a 3-6 overall record at Adams State.

• The Grizzlies currently sit fourth in the RMAC standings with their 0-3 record. A win over CSU-Pueblo can tie the team for third entering the final week of the season.

Tanner Beck the team lead in points. His goals are tied for the lead and his assists are the most this season.

Kale Wilson is tied for the team lead in goals with 14 and has five assists to go along with that for 19 points.

Johnny Rosas rounds out the double figure goal scoring for the Grizzlies with 11. He also has four assists for 15 points.

Jacob Austin also has 15 points this season with seven goals and eight assists.

Kage Janes (5g, 5a) both are in double-digit points with 12 and 10, respectively.

Roman Pepelyaev is the top faceoff man still for Adams State. He is 60-152 on the year and has a .395 faceoff percentage.
• Austin also has seen some faceoff action for the Grizzlies and is 12-36 on the year for a .333 percentage.
• Leading the defensive unit in caused turnovers is
Terry Trudgian with 10 caused turnovers.
• Brenna Grass is two caused turnovers back with eight. Tied for third is beck and
Sawyer Robison with seven each.
• Pepelyaev and Trudgian are first and second in groundballs with 28 and 22, respectively. Beck is third with 19 on the year.
• Grass, Austin, and
Kevin Chitwood are all tied for fourth in groundball pickups with 17.
• Goalkeeper
Connor Johnson has 95 saves on the year to lead the Grizzlies.
Brendan Williams has 13 saves in four games played.
Scouting CSU-Pueblo
• The ThunderWolves are 1-2 in RMC play after back-to-back losses to Colorado Mesa and Westminster College. They own a 6-5 overall record entering the weekend.
• Taylor Davis leads the RMAC in scoring and is averaging 3.36 goals per game. He is also CSU-Pueblo's all-time leader with 111 career goals.
• Anthony Ferrie is tops in the RMAC in points per game at 4.73. His 2.64 goals per game rank fourth in the RMAC entering the weekend.
• Jacob Muir leads the RMAC with 7.91 ground balls per game. He is also the team leader in faceoff wins with 152 on the year.
• Tommy Vassallo is fifth in the RMAC at 2.09 goals per game and 1.18 assists per game. His 3.27 points per contest is in the top-10 in the RMAC at sixth.
• Parker Evans leads CSU-Pueblo and ranks third in the RMAC with 1.36 caused turnovers per game.
• Goalie Colton Rasmussen ranks second in the RMAC with a 54.5 save percentage.
