ALAMOSA, Colo. - Adams State University Women's Basketball and Head Coach Jaime Green are excited to announce the addition of another player to their already deep 2019-2020 recruiting class.

Joining the Grizzlies program is Kaela McClure. She is a two-year junior college transfer from the College of South Idaho.

McClure, a 5-6 point guard from Jerome, Idaho, will have two years of eligibility left when she attends Adams State this upcoming fall semester. In her two years at Southern Idaho, McClure was a First Team All-Region selection for the Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC). She also led the SWAC in assists per game at 3.2. She was also in the top-five in the SWCA in steals at 1.5 per game and points per game at 7.5. Both averages were fourth, respectively.

"Kaela is a high motor, floor general who takes pride in leading a team. Her quickness is second to none and she is constantly raising the level of expectations of those around her with how she carries herself on and off the floor, Coach Green said. "Her basketball savvy and high IQ, are just a few attributes which set her apart from many at her position. We are excited about what she brings to the table on both ends of the floor!"

McClure will be a junior when she attends Adams State and plans to major in Business.
