FB | Harper named second team All-Conference; Three named honorable mention

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Adams State senior Elijah Harper was named to the All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Second Team as announced by conference officials on Thursday afternoon. In addition, Dalen Boddie, Matagi Dupont and Villiami Schaumkel were added to the RMAC All-Conference Honorable Mention list.
 
As the Grizzlies' lone first or second team selection, Harper accounted for 933 all-purpose yards. He earned 760 yards on pass receptions, 15 on ten carries and 158 on kickoff returns. In the 11 games this season, Harper made 50 catches as he averaged 15.2 yards per catch including a 75-yard pass play that was his longest of the campaign. He had six touchdowns on the year.

Boddie had 541 rushing yards on 154 carries with eight touchdowns while Schaumkel had 73 tackles on the season and Dupont was a stellar statue on the line.

RMAC Special Teams Player of the Year: CJ Sims, New Mexico Highlands
RMAC Offensive Freshman of the Year: Landon Walker, Colorado School of Mines
RMAC Defensive Freshman of the Year: Cooper Brown, Black Hills State
RMAC Coach of the Year: Brandon Moore, Colorado School of Mines

 The Grizzlies finished the season with a 2-9 overall record as they captured wins over Fort Lewis (52-17) and Colorado Mesa (45-31).
