Austin Fadal was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Offensive Player of the Week as announced by conference officials on Monday afternoon.
It has been 1,159 days since the last time the Grizzlies had an RMAC Player of the Week honor as Fredrick Jackson was the last Grizzly to win the award on Dec. 9, 2020.
Fadal was on fire for the Grizzlies as he averaged 24.5 points per game while shooting 72 percent from the field and 80 percent from the free throw line. He had 27 points in Friday's win over New Mexico Highlands while scoring 22 in Saturday's win over CSU Pueblo.
Adams State, currently 8-14 overall and 6-10 in the conference, are sitting in tenth in the standings and will be back in action on Tuesday night when they host Fort Lewis College at 7:30 p.m.
