Grand Junction, Colo. — The Adams State swim and dive teams began the RMAC Swimming and Diving Championships Tuesday. 

The men and women each competed in the 800 yard freestyle relay. The women's team of Peyton Schwartz, Kennedy Larson, Hannah Zimmer, and Jocelyn Jones swam a time of 8:32.71 to place 9th in the finals. The men's team of George Lutkenhaus, Matt Tidwell, Brayden Stalcup, and Bryce Scott swam a time of 7:22.93; however, they were disqualified due to an early takeoff.
