Colorado Springs, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its Men's and Women's Swimming Academic All-RMAC teams, with Adams State earning one First Team selection and four Honor Roll honorees. The recognition caps an impressive season for the Grizzlies, highlighted by multiple school records.
On the men's side, Devin Walters was the lone Grizzly named to the First Team. The chemistry major posted a 3.86 GPA and was part of the record-breaking 800-yard freestyle relay team that placed sixth at the RMAC Championships.
On the women's side, Adams State placed four swimmers on the Academic Honor Roll: Jocelyn Jones (Sr., Business Administration), Kennedy Larson (Sr., Business Administration), Ryley Martinez (So., Kinesiology) and Brenna Otteman (So., Pre-Nursing).
To qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a 3.30 GPA and be in their third semester at their institution. First Team selections must carry at least a 3.50 GPA.
The Grizzlies will look to carry this academic success into next year after a successful 2025-2026 campaign.
