SWIM | Grizzlies Swim in Day Two

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — The Adams State swim and dive teams competed in day 2 of the RMAC Swimming and Diving Championships Wednesday. 

At the end of day 2 the women are sitting in 9th place with 52 points and the men are sitting in 6th place with 32 points. 

The men and women each competed in the 1000 yard freestyle. Kennedy Larson took 22nd place for the women and Sammy Buttermore took 26th. For the men, Bryce Scott took 13th, Peyton Bowman took 14th,  and Cole Haight took 16th. 

Anjali Friedman placed 31st and Peyton Schwartz placed 37th in the 200 yard IM, while the men took 30th - 34th in their sections of the 200 yard IM. 

Jocelyn Jones placed 26th in the 50 yard freestyle and Brayden Stalcup was the fastest Grizzly in the men's section placing 31st. 

In the 200 yard medley relay, the women placed 7th with a time of 1:51.88, while the men placed 6th with a time of 1:39.72. 

The Grizzlies will continue racing tomorrow through Saturday.
