Grand Junction, Colo. — The Adams State swim and dive teams competed in day 3 of the RMAC Swimming and Diving Championships Thursday.
At the end of day 3 the women are sitting in 9th place with 78 points and the men are sitting in 6th place with 64 points.
Matt Tidwell placed 22nd in the 400 yard IM with a time of 4:28.30. Payton Bowman finished 25th in the 100 yard butterfly, while Josh Jones finished 28th. Bryce Scott finished 28th in the 200 yard butterfly and was followed by 3 teammates in 31st - 33rd. The Grizzlies also finished 6th in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:39.94.
Jocelyn Jones placed 29th in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:01.31 and was followed by teammates Anjali Friedman, Hannah Zimmer, and Kaycey Stephen in 33rd, 39th, and 41st place. The Grizzlies also finished 38th, 41st, and 43rd in the 200 yard butterfly. In the 400 yard medley relay the Grizzlies finished 8th with a time of 4:05.81.
The Grizzlies will continue racing tomorrow and Saturday.
