Alamosa, Colo. - The Adams State men's lacrosse continued their season against Westminster University Friday. The final score ended 20-6 in favor of Westminster. The Grizzlies move to 1-6 on the season and 1-2 in RMAC play.

The Grizzlies were the first team on the board, going up 2-0 in the first quarter; however, the Griffins quickly answered back with 7 unanswered points to end the first quarter. Westminster's run continued into the second quarter scoring 7 more points, making the score 14-2 heading into halftime. Coming back out at the half, the Grizzlies outscored the Griffins 3-1 in the third quarter, but it was not enough because in the fourth and final quarter the Grizzlies allowed 5 goals to their 1. The final score ended 20-6 in favor of Westminster. The true difference in the game came from shots with the Grizzlies having only 16, while the Griffins had 69. 

The Grizzlies will be back in action Saturday in Grand Junction, Colorado to face off against Colorado Mesa University at 11:00am MT.
