Colorado Springs, Colo. – Adams State women's soccer standout Grace Abbott has been named to the Academic All-RMAC First Team, recognizing her excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
A senior pre-nursing major, Abbott has maintained an impressive 3.93 GPA during her time at Adams State. This season, she was a key contributor for the Grizzlies, scoring six goals and adding four assists while appearing in all 20 games and making 18 starts.
The Academic All-RMAC First Team honors student-athletes who combine high academic achievement with strong athletic performance. Nominees must hold at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and meet the qualifications for the Academic Honor Roll. The final selections are voted on by the league's athletic communications directors, who are not permitted to vote for their own student-athletes.
In addition to Abbott's first-team recognition, six other Grizzlies earned spots on the Academic All-RMAC Honor Roll for maintaining at least a 3.30 GPA:
-
Keira Robertson, junior, business administration/accounting
-
Colette Tena, senior, pre-nursing
-
Molly Lancaster, senior, business administration/accounting
-
Annabell Haugen, junior, sociology
-
Ashlyn Bartley, senior, molecular and cellular biology
-
