Adams State Women’s Soccer Selected 11th in 2026 RMAC Preseason Poll

ALAMOSA, Colo. – Adams State University was selected to finish 11th in the 2026 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll, the conference announced Thursday.

The Grizzlies received 45 points in the preseason voting. The RMAC preseason poll is determined by a vote of the conference's head coaches based on returning players from the previous season's All-RMAC teams.

Colorado School of Mines was selected as the preseason favorite with 134 points. The Orediggers received three first-place votes, eight second-place votes, and one third-place vote. Mines enters the season as the two-time defending RMAC champion after finishing the 2025 season with a 14-2-5 record.

Colorado Mesa University was selected second with 132 points, while UCCS finished third with 131 points. Fort Lewis College earned 109 points for fourth, followed by Regis University with 98 points.

Westminster University was selected sixth with 81 points, followed by MSU Denver with 71 points. Colorado Christian earned 63 points, while CSU Pueblo and Western Colorado rounded out the top 10.

Adams State was selected 11th with 45 points, followed by Black Hills State University with 35 points and New Mexico Highlands University with 13 points.

The RMAC also announced its 2026 Preseason All-RMAC Women's Soccer Team. The 13-member team features student-athletes who earned First or Second Team All-RMAC recognition following the 2025 season.

The Grizzlies will look to build on their returning experience as they prepare for the 2026 campaign.
