Stalcup, Tidwell Earn Academic All-RMAC First Team Honors

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Two Adams State men's swimmers have been named to the Academic All-RMAC First Team, while another earned a spot on the Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Friday morning.

Sophomore Brayden Stalcup, from Frederick, Colorado, earned Academic All-RMAC First Team honors with a 3.68 GPA in business administration. A key competitor for the Grizzlies, Stalcup made multiple finals appearances at the RMAC Championships in February and was part of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that set a school record.

Joining him on the first team is sophomore Matthew Tidwell, who boasts a 3.91 GPA while studying history, anthropology, philosophy and political science.

Senior Ricardo Santiago, from Tucson, Arizona, was named to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll for maintaining a GPA of 3.25 or higher.

Colorado Mesa's Dejan Urbanek was named the 2024-25 RMAC Academic Player of the Year.
