COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Emily Sauvageau has been named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Softball Gold Glove Team, the leauge office announced Wednesday.
The RMAC Gold Glove Team is selected based solely on defensive statistics, with coaches nominating one player per position.
Sauvageau, a junior from Firestone, Colorado, led Adams State in fielding percentage, committing just one error in 423 chances for a .998 mark. She tallied 412 putouts, 10 assists, and was involved in eight double plays.
The Colby Community College transfer leads the RMAC in putouts, recording nearly 50 more than any other player regardless of position. Offensively, Sauvageau also leads the team with 32 RBIs, averaging 0.58 per game.
