Colorado Springs, Colo. – Four Adams State Grizzlies were named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) All-Academic Honorable Mention list following the 2025 lacrosse season. Ryan Berger, Wyatt Canaday, Devon Schmidt, and Vinton Mora were among the 72 student-athletes recognized for their outstanding achievements on the field and in the classroom.
Berger, a junior majoring in Business Administration, played in all eight games for the Grizzlies, facing 357 shots and recording 74 saves. Canaday, a sophomore also studying Business Administration, appeared in six games with four starts, causing one turnover and collecting five ground balls. Schmidt, a sophomore Business Administration major, played in eight games with one start, tallying three goals on 18 shots. Mora, a sophomore majoring in English, started all eight games, recorded one assist, and went 1-for-2 on faceoffs.
The RMAC All-Academic Honorable Mention recognizes student-athletes who excel both in competition and academics, maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.30, completing two consecutive semesters at their current institution, and utilizing a season of eligibility.
