Boulder City, Nev. — Adams State remained in 10th place after Day 2 of the RMAC Women's Golf Championship, battling windy conditions on the course.
Naomi Smith continues to lead the Grizzlies, sitting in 48th place. The freshman from Roswell, N.M., shot 13-over par for the second consecutive round and stands at 26-over overall. Smith recorded three birdies on the day.
Keona Weirick is in 51st place after a 23-over round, bringing her two-day total to 30-over.
Taylor Butler also sits in 51st, improving by three strokes from Day 1 with a 14-over round and recording just two double bogeys.
Isabel Galloway carded a 17-over, a five-stroke improvement from her opening round, and remains in 57th place.
Kailyin Vigil improved by seven strokes from Day 1, shooting 20-over to sit in 58th place.
The Grizzlies will tee off for the final round at 8 a.m. MT.
