Colorado Springs, Colo. – Adams State track and field's Thibault Tauziede was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year, while six Grizzlies earned All-RMAC honors based on their performances at the RMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in April.
Tauziede, a freshman from Guerin, Normandy, France, earned Freshman of the Year recognition following a standout season that culminated in Second Team All-American honors at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Entering the national meet with the nation's 13th-fastest 5,000-meter time, Tauziede placed 16th to earn Second Team All-American honors.
Gabe Onelio was the lone men's athlete to earn All-RMAC honors for the Grizzlies. The Girard, Kansas, native was named Second Team All-RMAC in the 800 meters after placing sixth at the conference championships. Onelio later competed at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships, finishing 20th in the 1,500 meters with a time of 3:51.98.
On the women's side, Addison Bisceglie, Maggie McCleskey and Lauren Ocampo earned First Team All-RMAC honors, while Haley Harkrider and Clara Keddy were named to the Second Team.
Bisceglie secured First Team All-RMAC recognition after placing third in the 1,500 meters at the conference championships with a time of 4:31.88. She went on to finish 21st at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in 4:37.65.
McCleskey earned First Team All-RMAC honors after placing second in the 5,000 meters at the RMAC Championships. She capped her season with two All-American performances at the NCAA Championships, placing 14th in the 5,000 meters and 16th in the 1,500 meters.
Ocampo, the lone Grizzly field athlete recognized by the RMAC, earned First Team All-RMAC honors after placing second in the javelin. Her throw of 44.74 meters broke her own school record, which she established during the 2024 season.
Harkrider was named Second Team All-RMAC after placing fifth in the steeplechase at the conference championships. She later earned First Team All-American honors with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Championships, setting personal-best times in both the preliminary and final rounds.
Keddy also earned Second Team All-RMAC recognition after finishing sixth in the 1,500 meters at the RMAC Championships. She went on to earn Second Team All-American honors with a 14th-place finish at the NCAA Championships, crossing the line in 4:29.50.
