COLORADO SPRINGS – On Wednesday, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced their All-Academic teams for the 2017 fall season.

The Adams State Grizzlies had several Men's Soccer members included.
Austin Baumeister made the RMAC All-Academic First Team while six other Grizzlies made the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

Baumeister currently holds a 3.78 GPA as a Biology major. Baumeister has 69 saves on the season with an impressive .767 save percentage as Adams State's goalkeeper. The Evans, Colorado, native possesses the school record in saves with 298.

The Grizzlies included
Leo Barba (3.60 GPA – Physics & Pre-Engineering),
Carlos Castro (3.35 GPA – HPPE),
Mario Castro (3.35 GPA – HPPE),
Andrew Geber (3.55 GPA – English),
Conor Mosley (3.39 – Business/Economics), and
Mason Mosley (3.64 GPA – Business) as recipients of the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

To qualify for the Academic All-RMAC teams, student-athletes must have a grade point average of 3.30 or better, be a starter or reserve, and have completed two consecutive semesters or three quarters at their current institution. Their cumulative GPA is what they earned prior to the start of the soccer season.
