COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Adams State men's soccer junior Tim Mietenkorte has been named to the Academic All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference First Team, the conference office announced Friday afternoon.
Mietenkorte, a business administration major, has maintained a perfect 4.00 GPA during his time as a Grizzly. This season, he appeared in all 17 matches for Adams State, earning 17 starts while recording one goal and one assist.
The Academic All-RMAC First Team recognizes student-athletes who excel academically and athletically. Nominees must hold at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and meet the requirements for the Academic Honor Roll. Final selections are voted on by the league's athletic communications directors, who are not permitted to vote for their own student-athletes.
