GOLDEN, Colo. – The Adams State Women's Swim team falls to Colorado School of Mines Saturday, Dec. 15. The Orediggers came out on top 206-58.
The day started off strong with the 200 Medley Relay. In the Relay, CSM teams took the top two spots and Adams State relay team took third. The

Claudia Garcia,
Madison Rincon, and Gynaedd Howdyshell team finished in 1:58.53, nearly two seconds before the fourth place CSM team.
Adams State took the third seat on the podium in the next three events.
Megan Dudden and
Taylor Jamison took third and fourth in the 1000 Freestyle, Dudden swimming an 11:53.68 and Jamison swimming an 11:58.31.
Madison Rincon took third in the 200 Freestyle, finishing one tenth of a second behind CSM second-place swimmer. In the 50 Backstroke,
Avery Wilson took third in 30.60 seconds.
Megan Dudden, gave Adams State their first top slot of the day, taking first-place in the 100 Fly. Dudden finished in 1:01.27, just under a second ahead of three CSM swimmers.
Claudia Garcia grabbed a second-place finish in the 50 Freestyle in between two CSM swimmers. Jamison also stole a top slot in the 500 Freestyle, finishing in third-place in 5:59.69.
Madison Rincon had another third-place finish in the 50 Fly.
The meet concluded with the 200 Freestyle Relay. The Grizzly team of Garcia, Howdyshell, Dudden, and
Kendalyn Spurr finished in fourth place, in 1:47.19.
Adams State will jump back in to the pool after a short break. The Grizzlies will host the Adams State Triangular Jan. 11 at 2 p.m.
