GUNNISON, Colo. – Peyton Schwartz,
Jocelyn Jones and
Anjali Friedman each won an individual event and made up three-fourths of the winning 200 medley relay team, but host Western Colorado earned a 186-63 win over Adams State this afternoon.
Schwartz, Friedman, Jones, and
Lena Brown combined to bring home first place in the 200 medley, touching the wall in 1:56.85.
Schwartz then won her second race, claiming the 100 backstroke in 1:04.50. Jones followed with a win in the 50 freestyle (25.77), with Friedman taking first in the penultimate individual event of the afternoon, winning the 200 breaststroke in 2:35.04.
