ALAMOSA, Colo. – The Adams State Grizzlies will head to Gunnison, Colorado for their last meet of the regular season. The Grizzlies will take on Western Colorado University and Nebraska-Kearney University this Saturday, Jan. 26.
 
Adams State is entering their last triangular competition off of a great set of finishes last weekend at the Colorado Classic, where they finished in 3rd. The Grizzlies team as a whole performed very well, having multiple first place finishes, and many top five finishes. Megan Dudden finished first in the 200 IM and also finished first in 200 Medley with her relay team of Kendalyn Spurr, Oliva Beames, and Claudia Garcia. 
 
Western Colorado and Nebraska Kearney are both friendly competition for the Grizzlies. The Mountaineers and Grizzlies dueled head-to-head early in the season, where the Mountaineers swam away victorious. Western Colorado is 2-4-0 overall in competition this season. The Mountaineers are coming out of a tough weekend where they lost to both Colorado Mesa and Dixie State.
 
The Lopers are entering the weekend 4-2 in overall competition, with one of their losses to Adams State. The Grizzlies last faced the Lopers at the CSU-Pueblo Triangular, where Adams State took the victory 184-64. The Triangular on Jan. 12 is the last meet the UNK Lopers competed in.
 
Adams State is looking forward to their last regular season meet, and is entering competition with momentum. The Grizzlies will dive in at 12 p.m. at the Paul Right Natatorium.
