Adams State Men's Swimming Reinstated

ALAMOSA, Colo. – Following the 2015-2016 season, Adams State University elected to discontinue both Men's Golf and Men's Swimming. Now, after a four-year hiatus, Men's Swimming has been reinstated, and returns as the 18th NCAA varsity sport at the university.

The Grizzlies will be led by Head Coach Quint Seckler, who has been at the helm for the ASU Women's Swim program the last two years. Seckler will simultaneously coach both the men and women for the 2019-2020 season. "I'm definitely looking forward to coaching both the guys and girls together" Seckler said. "Having the two together creates a great, positive competitive atmosphere, with a really special comradery and there's really nothing like it in any other sport."

Regarding any possible challenges, Seckler stated, "It will be a little more time on my part. Different intervals with men and women, and training wise different out of the water. In the water, it'll be all the same, and I'm just excited to get the guys here."

The Grizzly men will be in action for the start of the 2019-2020 season on October 5th from the University of Denver Relays in Denver, Colorado.
