PUEBLO, Colo.— The Adams State University Women's Golf Team is set to close out the 2020 portion of the season on Monday and Tuesday when they travel to Pueblo to participate in the 2020 Farmers Insurance Samuel Proal hosted by CSU-Pueblo.
The tournament will take place at Pueblo Country Club which is a par-72 course that is 6,190 yards from the white tees. In addition to the Grizzlies and the host ThunderWolves, nine other Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams will be in attendance. The Colorado Christian University Cougars, University of Colorado-Colorado Springs Mountain Lions, Colorado Mesa University Mavericks, South Dakota Mines Hardrockers, Black Hills State Yellow Jackets, Chadron State College Eagles, Westminster College Griffins, Fort Lewis College Skyhawks and Metro State University-Denver Roadrunners will be the other teams represented.
In September, the Grizzlies finished in ninth place at the 2020 Swan Memorial Invitational at Todd Creek Golf Club. They were led by the September ASU Student-Athlete of the Month
Madison Horton who finished with a two-day score of 164.
