WSWIM | Grizzlies take on Western and Pueblo

ALAMOSA, Colo. – The Adams State Grizzlies took on Western Colorado and Colorado State University Pueblo. This swim meet was strictly just the Women's swim meet. Unfortunately, the Grizzlies didn't get the results they wanted.

Overall, the Grizzlies lost to Western Colorado, as they had 177.00 points to the Grizzlies 43.00. Then, the Grizzlies also took the loss to Colorado State University Pueblo, as they scored 159.00, to the Grizzlies 54.00.

In the 400-yard medley relay, one team of Grizzlies came in third with a time of 4:19.83 and another team of Grizzlies came in sixth place with a time of 4:26.86. In the 50-yard freestyle, Davin Ruggles came in fourth place with a time of 26.78. Anjali Friedman came in fourth place as well in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:12.94. Also, for the Grizzlies, Ryan Bustos came in second place in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:20.88.

However, it was one swimmer, Peyton Schwartz, who was the only swimmer from the Grizzlies who came in first. With the time of 1:03.25, Schwartz won the 100-yard backstroke.

Up next, The Grizzlies have some time off from competition. Their next competition won't be until November 5th and 6th at UNK Quadrangular.
