GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Adams State Grizzlies men's and women's swim teams finished day 1 of the Colorado Mesa University Invite in 3
rd and 6
th places, respectively, as six events took place earlier today.
The men's 800 freestyle medley posted the best finish on the day as George Lutkenhaus, Indiana Steving, Coleton Haight, and Tucker Meeks placed 5
th in a time of 7:39.48.
On the women's side, the Grizzlies posted their top result in the 200 yard medley relay as Peyton Schwartz, Anjali Friedman, Katy Rose Heldstab, and Jocelyn Jones came in in a time of 1:58.36, good for 9
th place.
