GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Men's and Women's team are in Grand Junction, Colorado for the RMAC Swimming and Diving Championship. The Grizzlies competed in day three of four today.
In the Women's 500 Yard Freestyle
Samantha Buttermore finished in 29th place with the final time of 6:27.61. Peyton Schwartz finished with a final time of 1:01.77 in the 100 Yard Backstroke, which landed her in 20th place. Behind her in 22nd place is
Hannah Zimmer with a time of 1:06.82 and
Kyler James in 23rd place, with a final time of 1:07.29. Anjali Friedman finished the 100 Yard Breaststroke in 17th place with a final time of 1:10.78. Schwartz finished with a time of 1:21.78. In the 200 Yard Butterfly Katy Rose Heldstab finished in 19th place with a final time of 2:28.59. Buttermore raced a time of 6:27.31 in the 500 Yard Freestyle, she finished in 29th. Schwartz finished in 20th place of the 100 Yard Backstroke, Friedman finished 17th in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.
For the Men's,
Coleton Haight earned himself 14th place with a final time of 5:45.34 in the 500 Yard Freestyle. Kaden Scott came in 18th place in 100 Yard Backstroke with a final time of 56.64. Finishing right behind him with a time of 58.39 is Mathews Connor and
Eddie Duran who finished in 20 th place with a time of 58.94. In the 200 Yard Butterfly, Indiana Sterving came in 9th place with a time of 2:10.61.
Haight finished in 13 place in the final of the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:47.42. Kaden Scott came in 18th place and
George Lutkenhaus Jr. finished in 19th place in the 100 Yard Backstroke, Gilbert Brenton finished 12th and
Jacob Miller finished 13th in 100 Yard Breaststroke final.
Up next for the Grizzlies, is the fourth and final day of the RMAC Swimming Championship. This will be the final meet of the season for the Grizzlies.
