WSWIM | Grizzlies take on UNM and UTPB

ALAMOSA, Colo. — The Adams State Grizzlies hit the road as they take on University of New Mexico and University of Texas Permian Basin. 

Only the Adams State Women's swim team traveled to the meet. Peyton Schwartz got in fifth place with a time of 1:05.01 in the Women's 50 Yard Breaststroke. Ryan Bustos came in right after her with a time of 1:10.12. In the 100 Yard Freestyle, Kyler James had a final time of 1:01.04, which landed her in 6th place. James also got in 4th place in the Women's 100 Yard Butterfly with a final time of 1:05.49. The relay team placed in 4th place with a time of 1:52.28. 

Up next, the Grizzlies are on the road as they compete in the RMAC championships in Grand Junction on February 9th.
